Who does paddock maintenance in South Ayrshire?

We pass jobs to agricultural contractors covering South Ayrshire: 16 of them are in the network today. Describe what needs doing and the ones who cover your area get in touch with you directly.

How much does paddock topping cost in South Ayrshire?

It depends on the acreage, how heavy the growth is, how good the access is for machinery and how far the contractor travels to reach you, so the price comes from the contractor who’d do the work, not from us. Describing the job takes a minute and quotes are free.

Will someone come out to a small paddock in South Ayrshire?

Yes. A single pony paddock is a perfectly normal job. We handle work for private paddock owners and one-horse fields through to equestrian yards, smallholdings, farms and estates across South Ayrshire.

What if my field is in South Ayrshire but near the border?

Not a problem. Give us the postcode and we’ll match on where the field actually is. Contractors work across county lines all the time, and plenty cover more than one county.

A 15% deposit by card to book the job, and the rest once the work is done and you have confirmed it, taken from the same card, due within 7 days of sign-off. The deposit is non-refundable if you cancel.

Agricultural Contractors & Paddock Maintenance in South Ayrshire

The ground

Grazing ground in South Ayrshire, and what it needs.

Mild coastal dairy and grazing country on generally heavy ground, with a long growing season and high winter rainfall.

Later turnout and a tighter window for field work than further south. The summer months do most of the work, and autumn jobs are best not left late.

Not sure which of those your field needs? Describe what it looks like and the contractor will tell you: that’s their job, not yours.

In your own words: long grass, an overgrown paddock, a field that needs putting right. A photo of the field and the gateway helps, but isn’t required.

We work out what the job actually needs, check the area and the access, and confirm it all back to you before it goes anywhere.

3

Contractors get in touch
