Forage here

What Lincolnshire makes and what that means for you.

A huge arable county: straw is abundant and usually in big square bales off the combine trail. Hay comes off the Wolds grazing and the fen-edge grassland rather than the arable heart of it.

Being mixed-farming country, most producers here can quote for hay and straw together, which is worth asking about, since one delivery beats two. Big square bales dominate, so check your access and how you’ll handle them before ordering.

Common questions

Lincolnshire, answered.

Can you supply hay in Lincolnshire?
Yes: we match hay, straw and haylage enquiries with suppliers across Lincolnshire. Tell us the forage type, quantity and how you’d like it delivered or collected, and we’ll connect you with someone local who has it.
What types can I get?
Meadow and seed hay, barley and wheat straw, and haylage, in big square or round bales, or conventional small bales, by the load or the trailer-full.
How much does it cost?
Price depends on the forage type, bale size, quantity and distance, and it’s agreed directly with the supplier. Send an enquiry and we’ll come back with options, no obligation.
