What Shropshire makes and what that means for you.

Grassland farming with arable alongside it: Herefordshire, Shropshire and Worcestershire all carry a lot of stock, so hay and haylage are made properly and in quantity, with straw available from the cereal ground further east.

A good region for buying small quantities: the mix of smaller livestock farms means more producers who’ll sell a trailer-load rather than only a full lorry. Say what you can handle and we’ll match accordingly.

Common questions

Shropshire, answered.

Can you supply hay in Shropshire?
Yes: we match hay, straw and haylage enquiries with suppliers across Shropshire. Tell us the forage type, quantity and how you’d like it delivered or collected, and we’ll connect you with someone local who has it.
What types can I get?
Meadow and seed hay, barley and wheat straw, and haylage, in big square or round bales, or conventional small bales, by the load or the trailer-full.
How much does it cost?
Price depends on the forage type, bale size, quantity and distance, and it’s agreed directly with the supplier. Send an enquiry and we’ll come back with options, no obligation.
