What North Yorkshire makes and what that means for you.

The largest county in England and farmed very differently across it: Dales stock farms making hay and haylage at one end, Vale of York and Wolds arable producing straw at the other.

Worth being specific about where you are: a yard on the Wolds and a yard in the Dales have very different local supply. Give us the postcode and the enquiry goes to producers on the right side of that divide.

Common questions

North Yorkshire, answered.

Can you supply hay in North Yorkshire?
Yes: we match hay, straw and haylage enquiries with suppliers across North Yorkshire. Tell us the forage type, quantity and how you’d like it delivered or collected, and we’ll connect you with someone local who has it.

Meadow and seed hay, barley and wheat straw, and haylage, in big square or round bales, or conventional small bales, by the load or the trailer-full.
How much does it cost?
Price depends on the forage type, bale size, quantity and distance, and it’s agreed directly with the supplier. Send an enquiry and we’ll come back with options, no obligation.
